SSO is sustained by a group of loyal Friends and other supporters, donating time, funds and expertise generously. Our Friends come from all walks of life and we welcome inquiries from anyone interested in helping the Orchestra achieve its goals. SSO is a non-profit making organisation and a UK registered charity (number 113600).
The Orchestra's costs are funded entirely by concert ticket sales, member subscriptions, donations and grants from private trusts and foundations. You can help us in the following ways:

Donations
There are several ways you can make tax efficient donations:
You could simply write a cheque payable to “Sidcup Symphony Orchestra” and post it to us at the address below.
If you are a UK tax payer, SSO can claim tax back on donations at no cost to you. Your support is then worth around one third more to us. Simply sign a Gift Aid Declaration and return it (as indicated on the declaration) with your cheque.

SSO is setting up a secure online connection provided by Charity Choice. This facility will be free - SSO receives your full donation. If you are a UK taxpayer, you will also be able to Gift Aid your donation using Charity Choice. This will be available from July 2017.
