Our next performance - Sunday 20th May 2012 - featuring works by Schumann, Liszt & Brahms. About Sidcup Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2012 and incredibly still features one of the original violinists who joined the orchestra when it formed back in 1961. The SSO promotes regular concerts of classical music in the London Borough of Bexley and surrounding areas. It aims to provide interesting and challenging programmes of music that appeal to a wide audience, and provides its members with a diverse musical experience that may not otherwise be available to them. The Orchestra is currently 60 strong and is led by music director James Ross. Concert details for
